New Rules For HGV
From September 2013
The
Driving Standards Agency is introducing a real mass requirement for vehicles used for driving tests from 30th. September
2013.This
means that vehicles must carry a minimum weight in order to be used for the driving test
At the moment you would be training
and taking your test in a empty lorry, but Class C will now have to have a real weight of 10 tonnes and C+E 15 tonnes.
Unfortunately this will mean a lot more wear and tear on brakes and clutches and a considerable extra amount
of fuel.
The training costs will be increasing all over the country when this becomes law in September,
so don’t delay book today to avoid the increases.
